Oilfield Training Course
The Law Enforcement Liaison Committee (LELC) of the Energy Security Council (ESC) is conducting a one and a half day oilfield education and training course for the FBI Task Force on August 19-20, 2008 in Midland, TX. The LELC has trained over 1500 law enforcement officers in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming and is now focusing its training program in the oil and gas producing regions in the Permian Basin. This course is provided only to active duty law enforcement and prosecutors and is free of charge. Industry representatives from the LELC will include John Omohundro, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Butch Brazell, Pioneer Natural Recourses, Wayne Wicks, XTO Petroleum, Joe Howard, Hunt Petroleum and John Lipka, Encana along with Chief Deputy Ed Krevit, Midland County, TX Sheriff's Department.
